at the local parade down the street celebrating the 4th of July - some friends were with us which was fun!
The kids are ready with the bags to collect any candies and goodies that are thrown their way...and Patrick and I reaped the benefits of the candy gathering as we enjoyed eating their treats when they went to bed that night! ha!

Addie had a little lemonade stand. Our awesome neighbors came by, and some came by more than once! We love our neighbors!
We finally made it up to the cabin for the first time this summer. We enjoyed overlapping our time up there with my dad which was fun too.
Uno has been the game of the summer! Addie shows no mercy, and she has this game down....
Clara - 19 months
Patrick and the girls had a great opportunity to share the Gospel at the Mall of America through our Church's event, Big Serve. This was in conjunction with "Revive Twin Cities" which was going on that week in the city as well. Bold girls, excited to share the love of Jesus with others!
Grammy and Grandpa from Chicago came for a visit. They are busy making plans for Patrick's sister's wedding in St. Paul in December. Here you are seeing the mother of the bride as well as the flower girls and ring bearer...

Clara gets these awesome, "strong" legs definitely not from her daddy, so they must be from her mommy....isn't she so cute though?!
first tooth lost! - The tooth became very loose, very fast! Yesterday morning she is upstairs in her room (probably wiggling it) and I am in the kitchen. I hear "it came out!" to which I screamed picturing blood everywhere and her very afraid! That was not the case at all. She comes downstairs empty handed. I asked her, "where's the tooth?" She says it's on my night stand for the tooth fairy. She obviously knows the drill.
