Our Anniversary

Oh, where have 5 years gone?  We had a wonderful day celebrating our 5th anniversary.  Our good friend Kenna watched Addie most of the day, so we were kid-free.  We drove to Stillwater, a quaint little town on the St. Croix River, about 30 minutes away.  Stillwater has little shops and restaurants everywhere and with a 70 degrees day, it was just perfect to walk around and even eat outdoors!  We had dinner at this great Italian restaurant and then went down by the river to a different place for dessert.    It was certainly a day to think about how richly God has blessed us in our marriage these first 5 years!  

23 Months Old

Addie and Riley had a playdate over at our house.  They had a fun time playing in the basement!

The Cozy Coupe Incident...

You know when you find something so funny, you laugh so hard that your stomach just hurts?  Well, I had one of those moments a couple of days ago.  Take a look at the first photo...so hilarious!

Cabin

We spent a couple of days up north over Labor Day weekend.  It was very chilly up there, but we still loved being up there and relaxing.

We went to our favorite pizza place...daddy and addie being silly!

As you can see Addie is worn out after all that good eatin'!

Despite the cold and rain, Addie still loved walking around outside and exploring.

Grandpa got Adeline and Evalyn some sunglasses and the girls just loved that!

Minnesota State Fair

We went to the state fair on Friday with Pete, Chris & Emily, Connor, and Evalyn.  We love going to the fair each year.  Unlike last year, Addie was old enough this year to enjoy the good food (I mean deliciously greasy, salty, and sugary foods) that the fair has to offer!  Addie and Evalyn are in the Sheep Building doing some kiddo activities.

Adeline getting her first (and only!!) "Tattoo"...this may be the only tattoo that daddy will ever encourage...

At the home front...in addition to getting her first tattoo at the fair, Addie has not only started to "drive" but also talks on her phone while driving...oh boy!

Dinner at grandpa's house

Uncle Pete was in town from California this past weekend.  We hadn't seen him since Christmas so it was so nice to see him!
