Addie's hair is really long, but with all her curls, it's hard to tell.  She got a little trim today!

Guess who Adeline is talking to?  DADDY....she loves talking to daddy on the phone and via Skype when daddy is on a work trip.  There's no doubt...she is daddy's girl!

Charlie Joel - 4 Months Old

Charlie's pediatrician told me today that Charlie is growing well!  He is in the 27th percentile for weight and 61 percentile for his height!  He must get his "tallness" from his tall parents!  Haha!  If he doesn't turn out to be a tall guy, he can always say that at 4 months of age, he was above average!  A recent milestone was rolling over for the first time a week ago.  To that, his big sister yelled, "Charlie flipped over, Charlie flipped over!!"

Weekend in NYC

With Patrick having a stretch of days off, we went out to NYC for an extended weekend to visit Joel & Hye-Young.  It would be the last time we'd see them "kid-free"....as the arrival of their daughter is right around the corner.  My cousin Leah flew out that weekend as well which made it a really fun weekend to all be together.

Have I mentioned Patrick is awesome to travel with?  Now I know and you know, he travels for a living. But that doesn't make light of how great he takes care of us when we travel as a family.  He is a master packer and also a master manueverer of baby gear through all airports (parking lots, security lines, etc.), trains, cars, parks, restaurants, etc.  If it's breakfast time and we're at an airport, BOOM, I have a coffee and breakfast being handed to me.  If it's lunch time, he's handing me a sandwich....Where did I find such a great guy??  Patrick's certainly a keeper.  I can't believe we'll be celebrating our 6th anniversary next month.

Joel & Hye Young's friends held a baby shower for them, and we were glad to be a part of it while we were there.
