Bath Time
Playing together after their baths...I'm not sure how much longer Charlie will be so agreeable to playing "kitchen" and "tea party," but for now he doesn't seem to mind!

A Mild January
We have had a snowless, mild January. Adeline has even been able to "scoot" about outside!
We spent last weekend up north at the cabin...so peaceful and relaxing!

First Swimming Lesson
Since Adeline was a baby, she has always loved the water and has had no reservation when it comes to lakes or pools. We thought it would be good for her to take a few swimming lessons, so she would have a few skills to support her "no-fear" attitude when it comes to water.

Family Time
One of Adeline's favorite books: Olivia and the Missing Toy
One of Adeline's Favorite Toys: Dora doll from Grandpa
One of Adeline's favorite things to do: Puzzles
7.5 Months Old
Isn't this funny?! Adeline always wants to get in Charlie's crib with him when he gets up from his naps...
I will never deny this obvious fact: Our house is louder and more fun when daddy's home!

Celebrating Christmas
The longer I blog, I seem to write less. Most of my writing these days have to do with making lists (i.e. my cleaning list and my grocery list...). But if I were to really write, I certainly have lots of material. I could write pages and pages about how smart and witty and hilarious our daughter Adeline is! My writing couldn't do Miss Adeline justice though...it's her expression, her tone, her choice of words, and her timely execution of words that make her truly perfect. I certainly don't mean Adeline is PERFECT, but she's "perfect" for our family. I could then try to describe in words how sweet, curious, charming, and adorable Charlie is and still not capture him as precious as he is... But photos speak for themselves and capture those "moments." So while we don't always take time to write everything down, we do find ourselves with our camera in hand daily. Enjoy a few highlights from our Christmas!
Addie and Riley in matching pjs...this may be the year for their first sleepover! There is nothing like pure Christmas joy on the faces of these three year old girls!
