Spring Break 2013

We enjoyed a week out in the San Diego area as a late spring vacation.  We had the most relaxing, low key day at Disneyland (it's possible!).  We had no agenda, had realistic expectations....just went with the flow and it really was a fun, relaxing day!   In honor of celebrating our little guy Charlie's birthday, we also spent a day at Legoland and stayed at the new Legoland Hotel.  Again, we had a blast....not stressful at all and felt no pressure to do EVERYTHING.  We just picked a few things to do and that was perfect for our family.
Clara - traveling like a champ!

Charlie taking a snooze and Adeline enjoying some entertainment.

Our hotel in Anaheim - getting settled in and hanging out

Disneyland - can these two be any cuter together?

Checking out the map and deciding what to do first....Patrick is obviously very excited as Addie guides him through the map...

"It's a small world" - a family favorite (and we think it's better than Disney World's version...)

Adeline singing (very loudly)  "it's a small world" as we go through the ride

Charlie - not a fan of meeting Minnie Mouse

enjoying a "mickey mouse" pretzel

Each of the kids picked out a special toy to get while at Disney - Addie is so proud and so excited about her new "Doc McStuffins" dr. kit.

enjoying the parade

loving the train at Disney

Legoland Hotel - awesome for families with young kids!!  Addie is quite excited about her kids sleeping area with bunkbeds!!  Charlie slept in a pack n play next to her but had fun bouncing around and climbing up on the bunks.

Everyone always seemed to find their way into mommy and daddy's bed...

Charlie is at a stage right where he uses his middle finger to point....it's terrible but so hilarious!   The poor boy this night had a puffed up eye...not sure what happened, maybe a bug bite.

the hotel's lobby area where kids can run around and play with everything Lego

holding hands...sweetness

Clara, the most content, happy baby....

great memory-making week!
