One Month Under Her Belt...

BIG news in the world of Miss Adeline is she is potty trained.  She has one month under her belt, and we couldn't be more proud of her.  She caught on quickly, and we're back to just having one kiddo in diapers!  With the help of "3 Day Potty Training" (by Lora Jensen) and tips from friends who have gone through potty training before,  we were very pleased about how Adeline's training went and how she continues to use the "big potty."

House Project...

When we built our home in 2007, we knew we wanted to add some built-in bookcases to our study.  But we didn't know exactly what we wanted.  We decided to live in the house a while and take time to figure it out.  So, while Patrick was home on paternity leave this summer, this room took a major transformation...take a look!

Uncle Joel & Auntie Hye Young visit...

Joel & Hye Young came for the weekend, and we had a nice, relaxing weekend with them.  It was exciting for us to introduce our son to them and also to have many conversations about babies/kids, as they are expecting their first baby in early October.

 I hosted a small baby shower for Hye-Young while her and Joel were in town visiting...fun to celebrate with her!!

 A local cake shop made this cake...onesies on a clothesline....so cute and it was delicious!

Hot & Humid...

I know it's hard to believe, but Minnesota does have hot & humid days.  The last couple of weeks have been certainly that.  However, our summer weather started very late this year, so we are actually enjoying this heat!  Adeline is at a great age for playing in the water, and I am so impressed with her desire to get in the water and try new water activities.  Take a look!

A couple of Sundays ago, we spent an afternoon at the Larson's (our good friends who invited our Sunday School class to their home).  They live on a lake, so we enjoyed the weather, the water and water toys....there were kids running around everywhere, and we had such a blast.  Charlie snoozed through much of it, but that's okay!

These 4 girls are adorable together.  I hope they will be friends as they grow up.  Josephine, Hannah, Riley & Adeline are all within 6 months of age from one another.

This past weekend, we went up to my family's cabin in northern MN.  Addie loved being out on the jet ski for the first time!

Two Months Old

Here is Charlie at 2 months old!  Adeline likes to call him not just Charlie, but "Charlie Joel." She also calls him "little, little boy."  We love seeing this "little, little boy" smile these days!
